I am Wendi Kempf ~ the co-director of the Princess of Union County , along with Kristina Barrier.
I have previously owned and directed the Little Miss Union County Royalty Pageant. I have been involved in pageants for many years – serving as a director, auditor , and mom. I am experienced in all phases of youth pageants – from behind the scenes planning and directing , to nervous Mom waiting in the audience for My own daughters to compete. I have seen it all. My daughters Dusti and Brooke both have competed all over the state of North Carolina and have held many titles. My daughter Dusti currently holds the title of Miss Cabarrus County and competed at Miss North Carolina this year. One thing I would like to express is my love of pageantry . It has served as a wonderful way for Me and My daughters to spend girl-time together and enjoy each other. I feel very strong about the benefit that pageants have served in My daughter’s lives. I am full of pride when I see them go out onstage in front of a crowded auditorium and sing with all their might . Pageants are responsible for the self confidence that My girls have come to possess.
I myself, have gained many great friends through pageantry. There are so many wonderful families involved . I encourage those of you who are trying to decide if pageants are for You , to just give it a try. Come and see Your daughter blossom into a strong , confident young lady. I feel sure that with the Princess of North Carolina system, You will not be disappointed.
Along with my love of pageants, I also have 2 more ‘loves’….My husband Jim and My 5 year old son Ian. They are good sports when things get WAY GIRLIE !
